I know it’s off of the subject matter in hand, but I think it is a great idea of Mr. Waldron to propose freezing property taxes for seniors. Ivy, i think you should give this a headline because this adversly effects my Grandparents and should be open for discussion.

Since there’s no real info on it now other than what has been released to the news, I plan on talking about that after I’ve seen what is said about it at the workshop on Thursday.

And this has been talked about BEFORE Mr. Waldron brought it up at previous workshops by others. I believe you will see it’s not as easily accomplished as just wanting to do it. Should be an interesting workshop Thurs. I’m sure Dennis will have all the pertinent info on what’s involved . . .

I understand Mayor Mosley did the research and had all the info for the Tax Relief for the workshop. Thank you, Mayor, for your due diligence on the matter. I want to make sure you receive the credit you are due for the work you do. I’d hate to think someone else received the credit when you did the work! And it’s good to know you are “prepared” when you come to all the meetings. It’s makes it easier for the others. . .
