Afraid The Library Has A Poster Of You Hanging On Their Wall?

I am TERRIBLE about returning things to the library in a decent amount of time. That’s why this news is really good news:

Do you have an overdue library book you’re itching to return? Celebrate National Library Week through April 15th and have qualified overdue fees waived!

If you owe money to the La Vergne Public Library because of overdue book fines, you can wipe your slate clean this week. To celebrate National Library Week, Library Director Teresa Wilberscheid is waiving fines accrued by library patrons.

"Patrons must be present in the library to take advantage of this deal," said Wilberscheid. "We will not do this over the phone. In addition, all overdue items on the account must have been returned."

The La Vergne Public Library offers a variety of services to patrons, including: children’s programs, Spanish language materials for adults and children, free online genealogy search tools, and free Wi-Fi.

Patrons have through this Friday, April 15th to take advantage of having overdue fees waived.  Fines that have already been turned over to collections are ineligible.

And that’s right, it IS national Library week, so make sure you hug your favorite hot librarian this week!
