To all Dad’s, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, future dads, and those who want to be Dads… Happy Fathers Day!
My favorite Dad memory is going camping at Greers Ferry in Arkansas, then stopping for ice cream on the way home.
My favorite memory is going to all the fires with my dad and grandad. I would sit in the truck along with police officer Hood. Rule was I could not get out. It was great. Then I would ride the fire truck back to the station. The scariest fire was the doctor's building in Martin. I was very young. I knew that my dad and grandad were on the roof. All of the sudden the roof caved in, I began to cry(but did not leave the truck) Officer Hood told me he would be right back. He came back with a huge smile. Daddy and Daddy Bill had climbed off the back of the building. I miss these two great men that helped me be the person I am today. Love you Daddy and Daddy Bill!! I guess I was just meant to be in a firefighting family. Happy Father's Day Ronnie and to all fathers.
