Fan Pages & Amanda

I am so pleased to see neighbors getting talking with neighbors… even if half of us don’t do it in person anymore, there’s always electronic communication!  If you have set up a “fan page” or neighborhood “group” on Facebook, let us know!  Meanwhile, be sure to join This is LaVergne’s fan page.

Amanda

Also, I’d meant to comment about Amanda Dintelman who graduated last year from LHS.  I saw on the news that she was severely injured last week while joy riding with a friend.   Her aunt has been updating her facebook page and said she had cranial surgery and is fighting for her life.  If you pray, please remember both her, her family, and Christy Montes who was driving. You know these girls and their families are going through an incredibly difficult time.  I also want her family (if they read here) to know that she was very kind to my daughter when they were in middle school.

I am very glad to see someone being positive and showing support for our family. We need all the prayers we can get.
During this time we have encountered a lot of people, rather then helping the situation, they try to drag the family down with negativity.
Amanda is a strong girl and she will eventually pull through this. With all the good that she has done for people, God will look down on her and get her through this..

She has been in my prayers. It is heartbreaking to me that a couple of kids who were just out goofing off and having a good time now have this to go through. It could happen to any of us or our families so easily.

God bless both these girls & their families. You are so right, Kathy. I had teenagers & I know all too well that sometimes good judgement is overtaken with the risk of a thrill. Some are just much luckier than others. I hope Amanda recovers completely and Christy is able to overcome this situation and use better judgement going forward.
