Smyrna and La Vergne residents in need of food will have the opportunity to get free assistance this weekend as the Smyrna / La Vergne Food Bank holds a mobile pantry. They’re working with Second Harvest Food Bank to provide the assistance this Saturday from 10:30am until noon at the Smyrna First United Methodist Church. It’s located on Sam Hager Street. You must get a ticket and to do so, you can contact the food bank at 355-0697. The tickets will be given to current food bank cliental.
