It looks like we may be in for more nasty winter weather. What’s unclear is whether we’ll get snow, ice, and/or how much of both. Are you ready? I’m going to say school will be called off tomorrow in advance of the inclement weather. What do you think?
Instead of shutting down an illegal operation, our city officials will work around the problem to bring it into compliance according to the DNJ. The 30-acre site on the edge of the city limits — located just off Interstate 24 exit 66 near Blair Road — was originally zoned as I-2, which would allow for grading. But Duggin Construction crews have been sizing and selling rocks mined from the site, which would classify the area as a quarry.
